Prayer to St. Catherine of Alexandria,
the patron saint of the Wellspring Formation Initiative
O glorious
St. Catherine of Alexandria,
Virgin and martyr, wise and courageous,
You defended the truth of Christ with
eloquence and strength, and triumphed
over the pride of the learned. Intercede
for me, that I may be granted the
wisdom to discern God's will, the
courage to remain steadfast in faith, and
the grace to live a holy life. Protect
students, scholars, and seekers of truth.
Guide us in our studies and labors, that
we may use our knowledge for the glory
of God and the service of others. St.
Catherine, faithful servant of Christ, pray
for us, that we may follow your example
and one day rejoice with you in heaven.
Amen.

Catholic school employees have the opportunity to help the Church in her mission of making all nations joyful disciples of Jesus Christ. By participating in an initiative offered through the Catechetical Institute (CI) at Franciscan University of Steubenville, participants may better grasp the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Father's plan, and bear faithful witness to others of the wonderful life of grace in the Holy Spirit.
This Wellspring Formation Initiative is known as CI's Catholic School Religion Teacher Track.
